Wasting Food is Still a Big Problem
      China is famous for its delicious food, and there are so many different dishes to try here. But many of us take this granted and throw away the extra food we don’t eat.
      According to a report released by the United Nations, there were 815 million undernourished(营养不良的)people in the world in 2016, more than one (21) _______ every 10 on Earth. Yet, 1.3 billion tons of food (22) _______ (waste) annually around the world, which is about one-third of all food produced each year, according to the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization.

      The performance of these countries is largely related to their policies to deal with food waste. For example, France was the first country to pass laws to ban food waste.
